Legal Regulations Medical consultations are subject to German medical law and may only be provided if the patient is physically located in Germany at the time of the consultation. Psychological counselling is not subject to this restriction and may be offered regardless of residence or location.

Value Added Tax
Medical treatments are exempt from VAT pursuant to § 4 No. 14 of the German VAT Act (UStG).
A VAT identification number is not required for these services.
